the girl says he's a great boyfriend. and he apologize a million times over...saying he isnt good with dates an he even forgot some of his family member's bdays unintentionally. shoul the girl be hurt/upset?

i don't think so.
i mean, he has trouble with remembering other people's birthdates and things like that..
and it might be different if he hadn't apologized.
I mean, it's different for each girl.
Me, i'd be laidback and okay about it, but obviously still dissappointed.
i know some girls who would break up with their boyfriend about it.. I personally think that's going a bit too far.
So I guess it's really the girl's decision..
I just wanted to put in that if he has this problem with other people the girl shouldn't treat him too harshly. :) I know this girl might be dissappointed but she should probably remember he apologized and didn't mean anything by it.

If it were me I couldn't help but be a little hurt. At the same time if he is a great boyfriend...give him a break. Tell her to tell him that she accepts late gifts. Next time give the poor guy a heads up, it will save you both from feeling bad.

Let him make it up than put it in his date book or phone or whatever for next year. I forgot my now wifes twice when we were first getting together. Make sure she gives him some guff so it will help him remember next year. My wife still has to help me remember the rest of my families b-days though :)

being male i must say most of my friends dont even remember what the day is
i try alot of times to remember b-days but i cant im busy as heck
i rarely forget my gf's b-day but when i do its cuz well im busy
yes i love but buttfuck if your gonna get pissed because i forgot your b-day u need to realise its not your b-day i love its YOU not friggin august whenever
OH and my gf always remembers my b-day

wtf its my b-day i dont care its like any other damn day
now anniversaries are diff

Not really i dont think guys really keep up with b-days as well as girls,maybe its just me though.

thats up to you --- i know im not that good at dates BUT i make sure i have the important ones written down --- at least for my family --- maybe get him a diary and make sure he uses it ---- and maybe let him get away with it this time
