And where do these answers come from? This spirit that you tell me you feel? That does not comfort me. That is the equivalent of, "The voices told me so!"

Ah...
You better send Yahoo hate mail....it seems they are trying to take away that belief of yours.
Yahoo has all the answers now! Bwahahaha!
Wait...you don't "walk in the spirit and the truth" or have faith do you? Because if you had all the answers, I don't think you'd have found this site.

Yeah, about that...
I used to have faith. Can you guess where it got me?
Nowhere.
Faith has never really done anything other than make people feel better about themselves.
If you know a way that could work to rekindle my faith or something, by all means, email me. Give it your best shot.
Until then, stop deluding yourself and come join the rest of us back here in reality.

Though even "Peter' says that faith is merely a FIRST step...
2 Peter 1:5-7 For this very reason make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.
Though from a scriptural stand point a Christian really cannot claim truth. IN Genesis 11, the Tower of Babel story says that god came down and CONFUSED the WORD. So when did God UN-CONFUSE the WORD to make something like the bible truth?!?
Secondly, its not like the heavens opened one day and the bible came floating down. 363CE Council of Laodicea names 26 New Testament books as "inspired word of God"; Book of Revelation is excluded. It took another 25yrs for Revelations to OFFICIALLY be added.
There are also MANY sects/religions all claiming to be 'truth'. EXO 4:11 The LORD said to him, "Who gave man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? Is it not I, the LORD ?
Then there is also one of my personal favs....Ecc 8:17 then I saw all that God has done. No one can comprehend what goes on under the sun. Despite all his efforts to search it out, man cannot discover its meaning. Even if a wise man claims he knows, he cannot really comprehend it.

Dont confuse truth and faith. Truth means true=Fact, therefore not requiring the acceptance without solid proof that faith requires.

Walking in and according to the Indwelling SPirit of God is altogether a matter of faith. To worship God in spirit and truthfulness comes out of that walk of faith. Faith is not positive thinking or trying to do something on your own. Faith has everything to do with Christ. We are crucified iwth Christ and it is no longer we who live but Christ who lives in us.. and the life which we now live in the flesh.. we live by faith.. the faith of the Son of God who loved us and gave up Himself for us:)
Is this not wonderful? Even our ability to believe into the Lord for our daily walk and to know His will and ways comes out of our communion and fellowship with Him
The more we partake of Him in the Word the more faith He infuses us with. This is simply Christ infusing you with Himself as Faith.
To know all the answers may be very high on our list of things.. but I do believe brother that the Lord desires us to take each day one at a time. Sometimes knowing all the answers can stumble us.. can make us unfillable to God. You cannot fill a full glass. It needs to be emptied to be filled again and again. May we be so simple before the Lord. NOt lacking in wisdom or knowledge regarding Him.. but striking a sound balance of Trusting in the Lord and obeying Him each step of the way. Sometimes our way may be clouded but if we know the Voice of the Lord we will know how to follow Him even without looking.. Letting HIM be our eyes.

Why would I want all the answers?
If I had all the answers, what would be the point of existing? There'd be nothing new to experience or learn.
The only way to truth is empericism. Faith is a delusion.
-----------
Teaching alone is insufficient. One must continue to develop or one is worthless even as a teacher.

Yes! Praise the Lord! I believed, and He gave me the gifts of truth along with love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control.
Of course answers are revealed, one at a time. :)

Yeah, but you need to have faith in Christ, and also in the authentic church that he founded, for the purpose of our salvation.
Anything else ... no matter how much faith you might think you have ... only gets you half-truths.
And the bible alone just won't cut it.
