Take your dog to the veternarian . The veternarian will usually work out a payment plan or they will accept post-dated checks if you cant afford up front or even use your credit card. Ask friends or family to help you out. Pawn items for cash. In the future consider setting aside a special 'pet savings' account that way when an emergency like this happens you'll have something to fall back on.

Take him to the vet as soon as possible, and explain your situation. If you can pay on payday, maybe they'll treat the dog now and bill you later.
While it's true that some vets do have a "payment due when services are rendered" policy, I have a feeling that such policies are somewhat flexible. If you bring the dog into the office, and they can see that it needs medical attention, it's hard to turn it away and they may let the policy slide--especially if it's your regular vet and you already have an existing relationship. If they still won't treat the dog, keep trying different vets until you find one that will. I'm sure you'll find someone that will treat the dog.
Even if your dog doesn't have any obvious exteral injuries, he definitely needs to be checked out because he may have interal bleeding.
I know this is a financial hardship, but how will you feel if the dog dies the day before you get your paycheck because you didn't take it to the vet? Wouldn't it be better to undergo a temporary financial setback to avoid that?

Take him to the vet now, he is suffering. Worry about the payment later, most vets don't ask for the money up front any way. Tell them you will write them a check and ask if they will hold it until payday. Some will even work with you on payments. Your dog is depending on you, don't let him down. If you have to, go to a payday loan center, if ones available where you live.

Well, you can call and see if any emergency vet rooms will accept him w/ minimum payment, or no payment, but unfortunately, in my state, vets don't see pets w/o payment first. So, as much as they 'love' animals, they'll let it suffer because they might not get paid. Anyway, if you can't find anyone, I'm sorry, but for future reference, see what you can find out about pet health insurance. Ask a few vet offices, I'm not joking, it's out there!

Take him. There aren't many vets who won't work with you in an emergency situation. They will probably let you pay it off in payments, and then when you find out how much for the treatment, you might get some success taking up a collection.

alot of vets treat animals like humans. If an animal is hurt and needs help they will help it. Kinda like if you get hurt and are taken to the ER they don't refuse to help you whether you can pay for it or not. They should be able to work payments out. hope your dog gets well soon!!
