Nothing is more meaningful or special than what you have already given him(your virginity).Just because he has given you a present doesn't mean that you have to do the same. However if you feel pressured to get him something get him a promise ring with your names engraved on the inside. That should always remind him of what a special and wonderful person he has in his life.

Really?! You don't want to go and travel the world first, go and create some life stories for yourself so you can tell your children and grand children. I mean it's all sweet and all when young ones these days say they are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives with that person but sunshine you should really consider doing what you want to do first and remember don't just plan for the wedding, plan for the marriage, meaning consider what's ahead for both him and you. But as for the gift I reckon you should find out what he likes, then go on from there. Keep it simply don't go over the top though in the end he still is just boyfriend.

i know he is the one that im going to spend the rest of my life with.
How nice.. and how long is it going to last..
He gave you his $45 hoodie? Is he in love with his hoodie or he wants to get a new one? But if I put my sarcasm aside, to level with his gift you need to give him something that belongs to you and he can carry around all the time. Like your front grill. Just kidding. A ring you wear since you were 12 so he can put onto his necklace? Your favorite pajamas he could put under his pillow. Or your most prescious mini teddybear possible to fit on a keychain..

Well you already gave him your virginity. I call that a huge gift. Other gifts are not about cost but about thought. You should work 100% on not getting pregnant. Your very young. You have much to learn about life. Each of you will mature and change these next 10 years.

A big hug and a thank you ! you don't have to buy anything just be grateful and sometimes that's enough !! really ! I don't think you have to buy someone something just because they bought you something ! cause if they give it from the heart and they want you to have it then they don't expect something back in return!! You shouldn't feel you owe someone a gift because they gave you one! but thats how i feel about it !! you can always wait and get him something real nice for a B-day or christmas you know !!

Hmm... Well... Just a kiss to him is really sufficient. Com'on, you're just 17, if you've started to work, may be you could get him something nice like a tie, or a shirt, or something that he might love it. You don't need to purposely give him. As a boyfriend, he needs to spend more money on you. That's what bf is. wakaka... but may be you could get him some stuffs that he likes. :-) Oh yea! Monkeymomma said it very very right indeed.

First think about what he likes. Is there anything he said he wanted recently? It doesnt have to be something expensive either, it can just simply be something that he likes. Like make him dinner then afterwards cuddle on the couch and watch his favorite movie. Hope I helped.
