I think that there is a relationship between the two... I personally have an IQ of 135 which to me doesn't mean a whole lot but also I have an EIQ of 137 which to me is mind boggling because I have many issues that I have to deal with and anxiety is one of them... but I have been told that my scores are high and impressive. No I am not a genius or anything and maybe my circumstances have to do with the environment that I was brought up in because I believe that a persons environment plays a very big part on how a person turns out in life. I don't know... I am just babbling now because I am tired but I gave my opinion....

High IQ is a very relative thing and doesn't really connect with anything (apart from the possibility to show of in front of less gifted people and to fool your future employer into a belief that you're smart).

Anxiety is much more related to imagination and self control. It is rooted in prehistoric fears and as such is encoded in your genes. It's only up to you how you deal with it and how much do you let it onto the surface.

If you fear death you'll feel anxious in front of a gun barrel no matter how stupid or smart you are. If you don't fear death, you don't have the basic instincts and you'll die without ever experiencing anxiety..

No. Someone could have a low IQ and anxiety. The agency I work for has many clients who are mentally retarded and have anxiety disorders.

Yes. People that have a high IQ tend to have more mental problems in general.
