I`m canadian and we`re supposed to have been using the metric system and I remember being taught it as early as grade 2. But I`m 34 now, and I still don`t have a clue how many cm I am, I know I`m 5`1, and I know I weigh 120 but i have no idea how many kgs that is. I think in miles instead of kilometers, and i know there are 2.2 kg in a lb(I might have that backwards) and 454 g in a pound, but holy crap, the whole system is whacked. So I am looking for a page i can pull up and enter the m height of a guy i`m interested in (185cm) but that could be 5`2` for all i know and being 5`1 myself, well, thats too short for me. ANd he`s really hot, so I hope it means more like 5 10!!!!
Also i do a lot of shipping, and they always want cm and kg, but my measuring tapes are uncooperative, or I`m not doing it right. Any suggestions or perhaps the secret method to figure em out fast, would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Download Convert; a free program:

It handles a lot of conversions between metric and English units. I am told that Google will look it up for you if you type it in, but I haven't used that yet. I prefer to have a program on my computer so I don't have to open a new Internet Window.

a million order of Belgian french fries, 6 godiva goodies, washed down with a fabulous tripel. heavily, however, like gaining information of a language, you should *think of* in that language, no longer be continually translating. My top is a million.80 5 meters (definite, i'm tall), and that i understand precisely how severe that's...

185cm ÷ 2.54cm/inch = 72.8in.
As 72.8 inches ÷ 12 = Near enough to 6' 1"....Big enough ?
