Absolutely. You can be taken in for much less, but if you are nice to the officer and lucky (read, he/she is feeling magnanimous), you may get off with the car impounded and a cab ride.

That's a NO NO!
That's call "Driving Without Owners Permission." That's not bad enough now tack on no license. Man! that's a real joy ride!
Jail, maybe a ride to the station (police) and the you're parent's will be called to pick you up. On the ride to the station I would suggest "keeping mouth shut" or you may be
thrown in the clinker.
Will probably have to go before the judge. You'll probably have a fine pay. If you don't then there's the warrant for arrest. Think I'd rather pay instead of hiding in the tall grass until you are caught ... and you will be caught.
By the way, when mom and/or day come to pick you up at station you might as well right off your life to them for the rest of your life.

They probably won't lock you up, but they can ask your dad if he wants them to hold you in a cell for a while, just to shake you up. Also, your dad may make you stay at the police station for a few hours just for kicks. The cops can't allow you to drive without a license. They will most likely tow the car, then take you to the station and call your dad.
I'm an ex-streetracer and ex-stuntbiker so I know police. Honestly....you want to be on your dads good side when your old enough to get your license, trust me.

In Singapore, if you're below 16, your dad is the one who has to go to jail for you and get caning plus pay for damages.
It is so harsh that there is zero joyrides cases in Singapore and if you joyride and hit and kill a person, it will be the death penalty.

Yes, they do take people to jail for driving without a license. If your dad decides to press charges, you can also end up with auto-theft.

Yes til good ole Dad bails you out......but then you may have to wait til your 21 to get a license....especially if alcohol was involved.....Smart move Einstein!
And that is if you kiss dads butt and he doesn't press auto theft charges on you.
I remember the possibility of a cab ride in 1975...after that...you are f#@&ed!

Yes I'm sure your dad would not give you permission to take his car with no license, so you could get arrested for grand theft auto.

you cant go to jail if your under 18 but if you are and you do you will probably get a big *** fine but you probably wont go to jail
dont listen to those idiots that say yes they are stupid and they are jealous that they dont have the balls to drive without a license

YES of course you can. Further, you can be tried for Grand Theft Auto. AND your parents can be held liable for any damage you do, and the insurance company won't cover it because you are not a licensed driver. Even if you don't do any damage, your parents can and will still get in trouble for letting you get the keys.

no jail. you will get a ticket for not having a licence and it will go on your record. you will probably have to goto court. Maybe your dad might have to go to court to.
trust me its not worth the joy ride. what if you hit something or someone? laws are so strict. dont do that to yourself or your dad, this will effect both you and your dad for 3 or more years if you get into an accident
