Get Drontal from the vet. It kills all worms and it WORKS. Don't waste your time or kitty's health on OTC's or home remedies.

The only way is to go to the vet. To be honest, you won't even have to take your cat or a sample, as cats are supposed to receive regular worming treatment and the dosage for treatment is the same as the one for prevention.

Only take your cat if it fails to respond to treatment or appears ill.

I would not waste your money on OTC for worms (or fleas either) as they simply do not work.

5 out of 6 of us agree that you must go to the vet with a stool sample, i did this when my 'pringers had worms and for $12, the vet popped a pill in pringers mouth and the worms went away...so the visit wasn't expensive, and for my cat's health i would pay more...and have.

No. You need to take the cat (and a stool sample) to the vet. He or she will give you the appropriate medication for the type of worms your cat has.

1) You go the vet

2) The vet does a fecal exam and determines what type of worms your cat has

3) The vet gives you medicine to give the cat.

Stop looking for the cheap, easy way out. This cat your responsibility. If you can't afford a vet or are simply too lazy to go to one please surrender this cat to a shelter so that someone responsible can adopt it. I pity your poor cat.

not there isnt. Go to your vet and get a fecal to find out what parasites your kitten has. Over the counter drugs for parasites are alot of the time ineffective and dont get all types of parasites your cat may have.

you need to go to the vet and get special shampoo and lotion to put on it, the stool sample costs extra, they can diagnose worms with a black light
