You can combine your trip with a fund raiser. I have helped many clubs and orgazations reach their goals to have a great time on a vacation and raise money. I have been in the Travel Meeting/Event Planning industry for over 30 years.
Please feel free to contact me.

In my experience,
getting a regular job, that pays in excess of minimum wage, times 40-60 hours a week, causes you to collect money a heck of a lot faster than the various schemes to raise money by selling candy, doing car washes & so forth.

We call this "Bull Drop Bingo", but the attached link describes this funny and fun fund raiser. Depending on where you live, this can be very unique. In Texas it's pretty common and raises a lot of money, depending on how much you charge for each square.

Around my area try to have something around the local walmart, everybody always winds up there, sell hot dogs, hamburgers, something like that, car washes, just make sure it is in an area that gets all the business.
