Im a little confused..and i was hopping someoen could explain how we reborn as an animal could grow spiritually? can a reborn animal obtain enlightenment ?

Considering that we as homosapiens are considered animals, the only re-birth of which I am aware is mentioned in the Bible in John3:3, where Jesus said" Truly, truly I say unto you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Jesus goes on to explain Himself in verse 5, that He is speaking of being born of the water and the Spirit.
In July of 1976, I was born again. I was 40 years old at the time and had been a church member all my life. When I was convicted of my sin, one day in church, I realized that I was a sinner bound for hell. I prayerfully accepted Christ as my Savior, and I was re-born.
My enlightenment came at the moment I was reborn. I see things differently now. I am not perfect, I am not the man I need to be, but thank God, and I not the man I was, either.
Growing spiritually, is accomplished by reading God's word studying Gods Word, and prayer. An association with other Christians in a Bible preaching church is a great asset.

You could put it that way, but that doesn't really describe it very well. Some people think that "enlightenment" is some kind of end-point. (OK. I'm enlightened. Now I can just groove on this whole satori trip I got going..... Maybe get some orange robes or something?) nah. More accurately it is that point when you finally step outside the current perfectly hypnotic paradigm and realize that there are worlds beyond... And then you go on from there. (which is to realize that it still is a dream but you can tweak the dream as you like.)

Animals don't, they just continue the cycle of birth and rebirth until they are human again. Then there is the opportunity to reach enlightenment.

i don't believe humans reincarnate as animals. animals have a different kind of soul
