my mother bought a car at a auction a year n half ago from an estate sale.mom has no license n she lives in ky

n it is now in columbus oh at her brothers.it has not been inspected in ky yet because she don"t know how to go about getting it from columbus oh to ky.does anybody know how to go about this?

Go to the KY DMV and get a temp tag. The Sheriff will have to inspect the car and once you have the inspection then the county clerks office will give you a tag on it. You will have to pay taxes on it. 6% in KY if it hasn't been registered in KY before. You can deduct any taxes that were paid in Ohio.
