Even if you aren't referring to cookbooks, once a particular title or author becomes known to the media and then the public, more of us are likely to try the book. If we like it, we read it. If we don't, we ignore the media. But if it REALLY makes it into media attention/publicity, some people will try the book just to see what the attention was all about - good or bad.

In the future, if you meant cook books, you're fine here but need to say cook books. If you meant other general category books, find that category.

Hmmmm...are you eating them with a sauce, or just the way they come off the shelf?

Go put this in it's proper category, please. I'm quite sure that there must be one for literature.
