You may wear a long dress if that is what you choose. There really are no rules about that sort of thing anymore. Traditional weddings are not what they used to be. Wear something that makes you comfortable and beautiful on this beautiful occasion.

It depends how formal the wedding is. If it's very formal, I would wear a long dress. Do you know any other women who are going, like your boyfriend's sister? You can always ask his fiancee's mother if you want to be sure to wear the right thing.

Hi. I wouldn't wear a long gown unless the ceremony and reception is very formal.

Your best bet would be to wear a cocktail type dress. Have fun!

Unless it is an evening formal wedding, I would avoid a long gown.

It may make you look a bit dated and inappropriate - two things you don't want to be. :)

Enjoy and Good Luck

wear what ever you fell comfoatable in, if they don't like what you are wearing they can kiss it. Also if your boyfriend's son doesn't consider you a mother figure he has some problems.
