Can you really do anything you want, and then just say sorry to Jesus and its ok? Don't you think that's a little ridiculous? I constantly see people saying that "You will go to heaven if you just repent." How can you justify that and follow it?

I believe "once saved always saved". The Lord knows your heart. If you truly ask for forgiveness, then it will not be a habitual sin. We may slip up every once and a while but pray for the Lord's guidance and he will see you through your spiritual journey here on earth. Only the Lord knows your heart and no one can judge another; for we will all be judged. We are all sinners and that is why we all must die; but it is our choice to choose where we will spend eternity. Jesus died on the cross for all of our sins not just one. No sin is greater than any other sin. In God's eyes lying is the same as murdering. But if you repent you will be forgiven. You must accept Christ into your heart and believe. Until you believe you will never understand.

No, it's not OK! This is where Catholicism differs from other forms of Christianity. Other Christians often believe in a "faith alone" form of salvation -- which seems ot suggest that one's greviously sinful acts cannot make them lose their salvation.

Catholicism sees faith differently -- a person with true faith will be in a state of grace when he/she dies, because Revelation tells us that nothing unclean is allowed into Heaven.

NO! We are NOT to do what we want. We repent asking forgiveness from the LORD for the wickedness we do. We are supposed to stop the wickedness and NEVER do it again.

More can be said.

GOD bless

Of course it's ridiculous..! Which true follower of Christ does that? ..'anything' ? Not even a non-Christian lives like that...we all have morals and standards ..(well most of us anyway...)
It all comes down to what you believe is right though, which is relative....what I might think is good...you might think is bad....
Hence, you shouldn't judge..

No....you can't just say it, and then it be forgiven. You have to mean it....if you party every saturday, then on sunday you say "sorry I partied and got drunk" just "in case" you die...then no...you wont be forgiven. But if you get drunk and you realize it's wrong and you ask for forgiveness and you try to stay away from it...then you are forgiven.
