Due to a shortage of nurses in the US, this would be a great choice. You have 3 choices of the level of nursing you would like to pursue. These are LPN (Licenced Practical Nurse - Training takes approx. 1 yr), RN (Registered Nurse - Training takes approx. 2 yr) or BSN (Bachelors of Science in Nursing - 4 yrs college) Nurses make well above average salaries. Overtime is often required due to the shortage but you are well paid for it. Once you get into the field you can choose to specialize as a pediatrics nurse.

Nursing is really good but also a lot of work.......You can make anywhere from $40,000 to $80,000 per year. My wife makes $75,000 a year as a nurse. Keep in mind it is a lot of work but the pay off is bothe financial and knowing you helped someone. Also being a nurse you can work in many different doctors offices, hospitals, pediatricians, etc. The hours can be very flexible also. You can work part time or full time. Three days a week or 5 days a week. Keep up the good work with your grades! =) *****She is working hard to be getting A's and B's Holy D so grow up yourself********

im in the same situation, except on top of not wanting to work 24/7 i also dont like blood and gore. i'd say the best job would be a pediatrician or a family practice doctor.

Go to school and get your LPN licensure. Then ... work in a hospital for a year. Then go to a home health agency and become a pediatric home health nurse. You can work with kids right in their home, or escort handicapped children to school everyday.
Its a great job.
