Deus Ex Machinist.

(Not really, but it's sort of funny.)

On the other hand "Deus Ex Machina" does literally translate as "God From a Machine", so maybe that IS what you are looking for.

Do you actually know someone who believes like this, or is this a hypothetical question?

Normally a machine is made by someone else, so a person who believed that God was a machine also believes in another god beyond God.

Perhaps a Deist? I have no idea.

Well, someone who believes that God pretty much set up the universe and then sat back and let it run is called a deist. So perhaps someone who thinks God is a machine would be called a machinodeist?
