equate to "so your saying that promiscuity is ok"?

Seriously, I just asked a question of Christians, and got that as a response. It just boggles my mind how anyone would get that from what I said.

Or is it just a desperate Christian attempt to deflect the real point to turn me into the enemy by ignoring the facts?

It is someone who didn't understand your question and answered it based on what he or she thought you were saying in your role as a wicked pagan person, just like me.

In his mind, he didn't have to try to turn you into the enemy. You already ARE the enemy, he is just trying to get the rest of the world on his side.

I say good fukking luck on that one. I am always on your side.

Some of the christians that I have experienced are very out of touch with their own emotions and have no concept of anothers emotions. These christians often use their religion to further ignore emotion all together. It's easy to say the bible says this or that and make judgements...it's alot harder to acknowledge your own feelings and those of others because of the vulnerability. They are scared, that's all.

Since controlling sex is a major function of Christianity, of course they'll get angry and defensive.

*I* say promiscuity is okay if that's what makes someone happy. I also say that phsyical expression of love rocks, and I'm actually glad I wasn't a virgin when I married, and also that my husband is the best lover I've ever had.

YOU SAID THIS"
Why do so many Christians blather on about their metaphysical god, but completely obsess over physically...?
... expressed love and turn it into something despicable and dirty?

Its like emotions don't even occur to them and they obssess over the physical expression of it.

For example... demonizing sex outside marriage, demonizing homosexual love because of the way they physically express it, etc. " as less than human (like deny them the ability to marry who they wish for love) because you don't like what they physically do with each other. Think about it this way... your god didn't create your bodies so you could make them out to be something disgusting. "

You really didn't talk about "Married people"

and your putting accusations on CHRISTIANS. So why are we not aloud to answer your question?

I dont turn anything into what it isn't. Here you go:

I am married, I did not wait until I was married, I wish I did. Nothing before my husband ever mattered and it was a complete waste of my time and my body. That is my experience. I will share that with anyone that asks. I don't care about homosexuals, because I am not a homosexual, so it is really none of my concern...Does God care? In the bible he says so, but I am not breaking that with him so it does not bother me.

I have a healty relationship with my husband physically and emotionally. I do all of my exploring sexually with my husband and I am happy that I have someone I love and trust to do that with. Someone who keeps that between the two of us and wont wait until some lame *** break up to share it with all of his buddies. That is my reasoning.

I dont care who he or she sleeps with. None of my buisness. I dont care.

I am a christian...there you go
