My player is a Toshiba HD DVD Player - HDA2, connected to a Westinghouse HDTV. I have watched hd and non hd movies on it for about a week, and just today, the sound stopped working. My television and ps2 both work. I'm running the components through: PS - YPbPr1, and my dvd player through the HDMI - no other wiring other than the HIDMI cable, but it has worked previously. Any suggestions?

You changed the audio output settings of your DVD player from PCM to Dolby Digital or DTS. Make sure it is it PCM.
