My garden is getting pretty messy with all those holes I'm digging, is there an easier way?

plant trees on top and you will get a lot of compost that is functioning

are you in the city, or outside the limits with a septic tank
if you have your own tank you could just use it. I am sure you noticed "the grass is always greener over the sceptic tank". like the other person said, it is good compost, but you really need to make it into smaller pieces. I would recommend at least a dozen pieces, otherwise it will create too much heat, and that will be bad for your plants. that is why farmers always wait for their cow and chicken products to dry in the sun for several months before using them.

Freeze them and use your wood chipper to reduce them to compostable bits, then rototill them into the soil.
