I'm looking for the one that's going to keep me wanting to go to work everyday. I have a family to support so the best paying would also be good. Please someone tell me which one pays more financially and emotionally.

I don't know which one pays more, but I think either one is a good career to have. I also believe that it's wrong to think that pharmacy is an outdated profession. Yes, medicine is mass produced these days instead of being made in the back room, but there are thousands more medications available now than in the ancient days. Would you trust just anyone off the street to read and understand what the doctor prescribed, and fill your prescriptions correctly? That is what pharmacy techs do, besides other clerical tasks. Pharmacists rely on techs to do this work and they just have to double check. This frees them up to perform other duties that by law (and training) only pharmacists can do.

Whichever career you choose, remember that the more you put into it, the more you will get out of it. Become as knowledgeable about your job as you can, keep up with the new information, and you will be a valuable employee and be rewarded accordingly. Good luck!

Radiography (or medical imaging technology) is growing and will continue to grow as the technology improves, becomes more affordable, smaller or new technologies are invented.

Pharmacy is an outdated profession dating back to the time when medicines were mixed in the back room rather than mass produced in factories.

So...

Radiography will probably pay more, but I'd go with pharmacy because it is more in demand. People need drugs far more often than radiological services.
