am moving in down stairs from my mother-in-law and she just started liking me because i had a baby i feel like i should say no to the deal and stay wheree i am but i need a three bed room because i just had twins. help should i go or stay?

That's a risky move, but it could turn out for the best. Just make sure you and your hubby set up specific rules about certain times the MIL can visit and certain times that you will want and need family alone time.

I lived downstairs from MY mother and I loved it, however my husband had issues with not having our own private space and it was sometimes irritating when we would be getting the kids ready for bed and someone would just knock and come down, then the kids would get rowdy and the bedtime would be postponed by at least 30 minutes.

I have heard of situations that relationships changed for the better when a baby was introduced (between mother and daughter in laws) But you just have to be ready to put your foot down AND most important, your husband has to be on YOUR side and be willing to have some not so fun conversations with his mom.........it's a toughie!
