When we are asked how God feels about homosexuality of course we quote the Bible. What do you expect. If homosexuality doesn't disturb a Christian then something is wrong somewhere.

Hhhmmmmmm-- Good question. Let's see, I pretty much say, live and let live. Do I think people should have sex with people of the same sex? No, but I don't think people should do a lot of things in their private lives and in the end, I think it's their business. As long as they don't harm anyone, or adversely affect the way I live, I don't really care. Now God, on the other hand actually is SO disturbed by them he made their private parts NOT fit together right-- kinda like two tabs or two slots that can't engage one another. As further deterrent, he made it so if they DID find a loophole in this design, they'd get SHlT all over themselves!
So, I'd say God's more disturbed.

There's a lot of evidence that the parts of the Bible that condemn homosexuality have been edited and distorted. What once referred to the act of a man raping another man became "laying with".
P.S. I can't believe the self-righteous arrogant hatred you've stirred up among Christians by asking this question. Just look at all these Christians insulting their deity by transferring their own paranoia and intolerance to God.

I don't believe homosexuality is wrong, I'm guessing when it comes to sex is when God thinks is wrong, but I think we're the ones condemning and judging people saying they're going to hell like we have the authority to do so. That's up to God, not us.

Neither. It's the homosexuals who want Christians to sign off on their lifestyles who are the most disturbed. As a Christian I give very little thought to homosexuality except to tell people who are in that lifestyle that God has made a way for them to be saved just like the people in the church of Corinth who were once characterized by various sinful lifestyles that are a part of the broadway to destruction.
1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such WERE some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
I used to be a drunken fornicator with a quart of vodka a day habit, but by the power of God and his indwelling Spirit those behaviors no longer are a part of my life. I was on my way to Hell but now by God's grace and mercy I'm on the narrow way to Heaven.
Matthew 7:13 Go in through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there are who go in through it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and constricted is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Beautifully put! I've always thought it a strange coincidence that so many of the most vociferous reminders of the Biblical injunctions against homosex come from homophobes.
Coincidence? Or... SATAN!?

I'd say you seem more disturbed by the fact that God condemns it.

when Christians quote God's word..then that's what they mean. i don't believe that we are condemning them. that is not our job. nor do we condone the act. we are just simplying quoting God and if anyone has a problem with that then their real issue is with God and not the individual.

Oh trust me, God hates homosexuality more than any person ever could. He also loves homosexuals more than any person ever could. That's the very reason he hates homosexuality in the first place - it destroys every last one of its victims.

I still say "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone."
I think that everyone who says a word against their brother for something so small as orientation should be struck blind for such gall.
