I know of at least 3 that I've met personally over the last 5 years or so. Cowboy Shooting Competetions are an incredible thing to watch. I'm an above average shot myself but these guys with Colt Single Actions..Well..lets just say I'm smart enough not to want to go up against any one of them.......No Bang-Bang...Just BANG and the targets toast......

Yes I do. My Italian husband is an amazing shot.I've seen him in country fairs, with those rifles that have the sights all out of whack,he takes one shot to see where the flaw is and just knocks out everything after that. He's also great with a crossbow.

Quick Draw McGraw and Deputy Dog are my personal favorites.

While being a hell of a sniper, hathcock would probably have a very hard time in a cowboy action shooting gig. Very different environment.

Shouldn't it be Bang Bang.....Dead Dead and one wounded?

I'm a pretty good shot with a .45 if I can keep the darn thing on the bag! It has a hey of a kick.

You are talking about "cowboy gun shooting". This is a very popular competition, especially in the old west areas. I personally do not know any one who excels at this.

My brother is a really good shot, and so is my dad. I saw my brother shoot an arrow in half at about 100 yards, and I've seen my dad shoot a clay pigeon wth a .22 rifle.
