Depends on the cat and the age.
My 6-7 month old goes, gosh like 3 times.
While my 13 year old goes once.

My kitten pooped 3-4 times a day until it was about 5 months old... then went to twice and has stayed at twice.
My male cat eats more and poops more than a normal cat. He poops 4 times a day, and eats like every half an hour- we even tested him for diseases... he is healthy, just a lil freaky-deaky.

I have one who does it twice a day, and another who does it once every 2 days. Both are healthy.

Ours usually poop once and pee twice. On average. There are days they do it a bit more or less.

you know theres an easy way to count.every time you look in the litter box [blech]and see fresh poop you got it but thats hard so just wait until you keep smelling somethin gross.
