i mean if i believed in a religion i wouldnt think that "i am human like everybody else" or " i am a sinner since i am imperfect" is valid...since if i believe and you dont i dont think we both have the same level of responsability...
It is like a plane pilot sleeping on flight and when the plane is falling he saying: "well i am human like everybody else and i can make mistakes".
if one believes something, one is much more responsible about everything connected to whatever he/she believes than people who dont believe.
A christian may think that an atheist sinning is a bad thing (but an atheist doesnt know god) but a christian (who claims having a personal relationship with god) sinning is much worse.
So who are christians trying to convince and convince of what exactly, when saying "we are all imperfect and we all sin"???

christians saying "we are all imperfect and we all sin" are saying this. The human form lies and so does it's thoughts. You see, first one must uncover the face of evil before one knows where and how to wage war with the evil, and be the victor in truth

Christians are all at different levels of development and maturity. We don't expect infants to jump up and run a race. By the same token, we don't expect young Christians to live the Christian life without falling down or wobbling. The reality is that true Christians are striving to follow the teachings of Jesus more closely every day. Yes, there are many who profess to be Christians that do not make it a priority to know what the Bible says about how to live or to try to follow Jesus' teachings more closely. But there are those of us who are aware of our dependence upon God for grace to get as close to Christ-likeness as possible. My dad taught me that there are two people who look just alike: the hypocrite and the weak / immature Christian. Both profess to believe, both may sin; but the hypocrite's attitude is that he can sin and get away with it, while the weak / immature Christian repents, dusts himself off, and gets back in the race, so to speak. Who is man to judge the intent of the heart? We are not qualified to judge which of these people falls into which category. That job belongs to God alone.

Christians are stating a fact when he or she makes the claim, that they are human and make mistakes too. Being "responsible" is one thing but sinning comes with the territory. Sin illustrates to all humans: (1) He or she is NOT God. (2) He or she needs a relationship with God because of sin. (3) The consequences from sinning lead to death.
(4) Christians accept the GRACE of God, extended to all humans , from God. (5) Christians have an Advocate, who intercedes for them, on their behalf. The general idea concerning Christianity is , that God loves ALL humans UNconditionally and will ultimately, rid this world of SIN (not people), Satan [Tempter] and the Law (it identifies sin -no law-no sin) AND replace it all with a new nature within humans contained in a new world with a new Ruler of the world, Jesus Christ, who will rule the world in love !!!

It is worse to do something knowing it is wrong. A Christian can't do something knowing full well that it is wrong and say oh well I will just ask forgiveness. We are being watched nonbelievers waiting or us to fail so they can point and say see what the Christian did wrong. But in the same since we are human and we do make mistakes everyone does. I try to live my life in the best way I know how but I fail from time to time. I regret it I feel bad but I pick myself up and try to learn from my mistakes. That is how you grow as a person and as a Christian.

Christians are not trying to convince anyone of anything that is untrue. We are simply telling what we believe, As Christians we sin less, but we are not sinless. Meaning we do not strive to sin, but if we do then we can receive forgiveness.
It's so easy but yet so hard

We are all sinners and all fall short of the glory of God, by His grace we are saved. Please read "A Purpose Driven Life" and try to see why you were created, and by whom, in the first place. I guarantee you this, God is real, He loves you dearly, just as you are,and He will reveal his purpose for your life. A
christian does not think that an athiest is bad, we do not judge, yet we be judged. As you mature in Christ, He will answer ALL your questions. God bless and read the book!

Romans 10

Romans 2:12

For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law;

There are no excuses and there is not one sin that is greater than any other sin according to God.

for by breaking one law you have broken all the laws.....

when one becomes saved the old nature is gone and your a new creation in Christ Jesus.

Romans 7:14-25 Paul talks about the problem with sin and how we overcome sin.

14For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

15For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.

16If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.

17Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

18For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

19For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.

20Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

21I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

22For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

23But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

24O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

25I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

We are all imperfect
A sin is a sin in Gods eyes, no matter who you are or what you believe.
I personally do not try to convince anyone of anything...
I am human like others but I do live differently than those who do not prefer to believe in God
