If it's a sin to be gay/lesbian, why would god create people that way then? Just wondering.

For that matter, why would God create Pedophiles?
I dunno, but evidently, there are people who are sexually attracted to children.
Why would God create murderers? Some serial killers, evidently, were sadistic from early childhood.
Why would God create:
Thieves? Adulterers? Liars?
Why would God create people who covet?
I don't think anybody would promote these things as "alternate lifestyles", do you? I just don't see anybody getting excited about a Pedophilia Pride Parade, or attending a Serial Killer Festival.
I'm pretty sure that if a thief practiced his alternative lifestyle in a public place, such as Waffle House, folks would be very understanding when the manager tosses him out.
On the other hand, adultery has managed to catch on in our society...and we are surrounded on every side by liars...so, I guess you never can tell...
So, did God create these folks that way, or did society have a major hand in it?
Hmmmm.....

God does not create people to be gay/lesbian. He actaully created man in his image. That is why Adam and Eve were perfect, however he did give them free will as the person above be stated. The Devil decieved them and they were cast from The Garden of Eden.
It is the evil in the world that goes unrecognized that makes one believe believe they are gay.
God didn't make them that way, but they still can't help it without help. People are still being decieved by the Devil.

I'm going to get so many thumbs down for this, but I don't care. This is my belief. If someone doesn't like it give me a bad rating. Believe it or not, I really don't care.

God didn't create people gay or lesbian. He gave them free will and they chose to be that way. There are people who were formerly gay but who have renounced the lifestyle, and they say that they were not born that way. And having gay tendencies isn't a sin, it's actually living the lifestyle that's wrong. I feel so bad for gay people, something really bad must have happened to them to make them end up so confused.

Why would God create people who had a hereditary predisposition to alcholism or who had a strong heterosexual desire but no spouse if it were a sin? Why would He create people with cleptomania if stealing were a sin? Why would He create people who couldn't control their anger if it were a sin?

The answer is that sin has corrupted God's creation and we ALL have our own personal cross to bear. For one person it might be their sexual desires. For another person it might be alcohol. That's the bad news.

The good news is that when we turn to God and receive his Holy Spirit we obtain supernatural power to repent of those sinful behaviors and even though we might still be tempted to engage in them we can get the victory in Jesus!

1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor abusers, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

11 And such were some of you. But you are washed, but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

And such WERE some of you. When a person receives the Holy Spirit He begins the work of sanctification and starts to transform them into the image of Christ so that their old life fades away and is replaced by a new and eternal life in Christ, praise the Lord!

God DID NOT create gay/lesbian people!
Imperfection and choices can be said to cause men/women to choose an alternative life style.

God did not make anyone gay or lesbian. God does not change. The Bible states it as sin, therefore, we know that God did not make people this way. It is a choice they have made. God cannot make sin, thereby he cannot make someone gay.

God Bless.

This question is equivalent to: Why would God create people who lust after women they aren't married to?

Why would God create people who hate others? Why would God create people who want things that don't belong to them?

You are shifting the blame from the desires of the individual to the standards of God. You are ignoring the problem of Sin.

He wouldn't, I don't think. But since he DID create gay people, the most logical explanation to me is that it isn't a sin, at least in His eyes

He wouldn't and he didn't. People become homosexuals.

"God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator— who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done." Rom 1:24-28

God did NOT create them.
it is an abomination.
it is their CHOICE to be that way.

for those who say God created them like that, don't know the LORD & don't know scripture. it is the work of satan, not God.
gay people have many demonic spirits residing in them.
i have seen it first hand.
they can leave the lifestyle if they are truly sincere... the demons must be cast out.

it is biblical.
