...of a Christian woman who has been with her husband for 20 years, or should I leave well enough alone and just have a quiet, subtle affair with her on the side?

I'm on your side. It's not called a marriage contract for nothing. If he wants to break the contract (which he already did) then he can pay through the nose. You held up your end & endured pain & suffering while he went on his merry way, screwing whomever he wanted. He could have at least waited until a separation took place. What a jerk ! Not because he's a man, but because he lied to your face.. I still cannot believe that there are people in this world that can do that so easily. Try to stay strong & keep your good moral values high. Someday, someone new will appreciate them & you.

is that the only choice i get?

in that case you have to weight the pros and con.

1. does she make enough money to keep you in the style you would like to become accustomed to?
2.will she expect a life long commitment?
3.are you really ready to monogamous?
4.by looking at her mother, you will get a good Idea of how she will look in 20 years?
5. is 20 years to far to look ahead?
6. is her husband liable to become violent?
7. last but not least, does she still have all of her teeth?

I love the way you say "on the side". There's something attractive about the "naughty naughty boy" in you that get's me.

Yeah, definitely on the side. Will I tell her the good news? When will you be calling over so I can put on my lycra and cape and leap out of the cup'd and surprise you?

Neither. What about your girlfriend?! I thought you loved her and wanted to be loyal to her? If you keep cheating on her she ain't never going to let it go.
