i try to curls my ends outward but they wont stay?

Question

i used hair sparay be4 and after to make them stay but almost an hour later they were striaght again. i striaghten my hair every morning and then curl the ends. my hair is naturaly wavy. so how do i keep my ends fliped out all day without looking like i used a lot of moose or hair spray? i really need to kno.

don't straighten the ends before flipping
