With a sausage pattie, maple syrup, and sliced banana!
I tried this at work way back before they took away the cafeteria. The special was french toast and sausage and I had bought a banana and I was just going to eat it, but decided to try something different.
It's THE best!

a good french toast breakfast includes a spicy sausage patty and some fresh fruit. The sweetness of syrup and fruit will counteract the sage and pepper in the sausage.

French toast is a full meal so I think fresh fruit is best. Use blueberries, strawberries, melon and some fresh mint.
