I'd rather say the giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca). But that's the same as the panda bear.
Maybe the dragon is even more famous, but I'm not sure you could say it's "native to China" ... ;)

First, neanderthal man is not a "half man, half ape." There is no genetic link between man and ape that is 'half and half.' Neanderthal man is a man. Second, God can do anything. Here are three examples. 1) He could have created the world over millions of years which could see the rise and fall of dinosaurs and whatnot before man was created. "But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day." (2 Peter 3:8) 2) He could have created the world with a history. (I mean, we are talking about an omnipotent Being.) I don't know why, but He could have. Maybe to test your faith? Third, man was created in God's image. (Genesis 2) In that respect, he can reason, he can choose, he has free will. Animals, on the other hand, act out of instinct. Finally, evolution is a theory and not proven since a link cannot be found between apes (which I am supposing you are saying we descend from) and humanity. Frankly, it takes probably more faith to believe in evolution than to believe in the Creator. How very interesting that you end your statement with "any answers that don't give an interesting response or idea and simply say blablabla faith. . . are non intellectual and will be disregarded. . . " He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

Most probably it's the panda bear. Most people'll think of pandas when they mention a native Chinese animal, but even though it's mythical, the dragon is distictly part of Chinese culture too.
