C.) I have a 12 gauge pump and buckshot I keep handy for just such an eventuality. I would also call the authorities immediately and hope they would arrive before the situation deteriorated to the point where I would actually have to use the weapon.

As to Iraq... Surely you are aware that we are the foreign army currently occupying their country. If the situation were reversed, I'd be building improvised bombs in my basement and conspiring with my fellow patriots to kill every foreign invader possible. Don't get me wrong, I'm a loyal American, but I'm not such a hypocrite that I can't understand why the Iraqis want us out of their country. Of course we won't like their form of government, but who are we to dictate what sort of government they end up with? We created this mess by electing Bush and allowing him to pre-emptively invade a relatively defenseless country without just cause. I am patriot enough to know I would never allow a foreign invader to ruthlessly occupy America and I know damn well Iraqi patriots feel the same way about us. The best way to support our troops is to bring them home and leave the Iraqis to manage their own affairs.

Printninja -- Wow! An awesome post. Thank you. As a reward, I shall endevour to learn more about Guy Fawkes. Hung for treason, wasn't he?

What if we are the thugs that went to them for the last sixty years, took their homes, took their lives and livelihood and interfered in their daily affairs?

What if WE are self centered? If you were a Palestinian, how would you react if some people from Europe came and threw you out on the street in the name of their superiority to you? What if the Chinese do that to you today?

What would YOU do in that case? You are posing this question (without really realizing it) from the point of view of the burglar, not a defender.

Why is it terrorism if a bomb is strapped to a person in a bazar, but not terrorism if that same bomb is dropped from the air through air force terrorism of the politician terrorist?

There is more than one way to look at everything. When the burglar enters your house, he has committed evil. If you have no means to stop him, you may at time be justified in following him to his house and rob him. What do you say to that logic?

Who is being burgled. When was the last time an Iraqi came to take anything from you? When was the last time a Palestinian came to take from you? When was the last time you paid money to have their homes taken or destroyed?

Ask yourself with an open mind. Then you will understand why the World is getting sick and tired of our interventions around the globe. So far we have burgled more than one hundred countries. Do a search on all the lands the United States has invaded or sent its armies to.

The founding fathers did not create our nation to hassle other smaller nations of the World but to create a World that is good of its own merits in the United States so those who have any sense will look and learn.

If a burglar THEN comes to us, without us ever going to their land, THEN indeed we would be justified in following him to his house.

Right now the situation is MIGHT is RIGHT. So, help us God!!

Q: what would you do if an angry murderous band of thugs smashed down the door of your home?

A: There's every likelihood they'd be cops breaking down the door at the wrong address, as happens so often these days. But whether it was cops or some less likely gang of thugs I'd react exactly the same way.

I'd reach under my pillow and try to take a few with me into the next life.

Boy oh boy, do the neocons have you brainwashed. You're so naive, it's almost endearing.

Our soldiers are in Iraq because our president has a lot of wealthy friends in the oil business. Show me one Iraqi citizen who wants to bash down my door an hurt me. These people are VICTIMS of our president's aggression. The Iraqis, BY FAR, are the ones doing most of the dying. It's tragic that our troops are being forced to participate in this shameful, disgusting war.

EDIT: I had MANY friends (firemen) that died in 9-11. What does that prove. Maybe if you washed your brain, you'd understand that Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11. Oh well, those Muslims all look the same, right? And they all want to kill us.

(And my Avatar is Guy Fawkes, not a "ninja man." Thanks for proving how blissfully free you are from the ravages of intelligence.)

EDIT:
I'm not the one with the distorted view of the world, posting the identical appeal for attention in FOUR different Y!A categories. You can get off your FOX news soapbox now, Mrs George W Bush. The world knows the truth, we don't need you to frighten us into believing the hackneyed Republican lie.

I support the troops, but I don't support the war in Iraq.

Iraq and its government had nothing to do with the attacks on 9/11 ... so to me, by using unbelievable amounts of manpower and resources to go after a threat that doesn't exist, we are ultimately leaving ourselves open for more attacks.

hmm

sorry, i dont need protecting from people who live in myd huts and houses made of garbage. you want to protect me? you can do it from inside of the United States without even using the military at all.

WE dont want peace....we want oil...that what were doing over there. to deny this would be to deny the obvious.

you can hide behind a "support our troops" sticker al lyou want. i cant support this war and that means i have a hard time supporting our troops.

you want me to support them? sure. but bring them home first.
