There is always a chance of biting your lips while your sleeping, but its not likely.

I got 2 cavitys filled last week and I got them done after school [at 4]. I'm really sensitive to mouth pain so they had to use the highest numbing medicine on me. It took until about 9 to completely wear off. Make sure that you don't bite your lip to "just see" how hard you have to until it hurts. I've done that before and it hurts--so bad.

Chances are very slim. You would only be numb in area where teeth are being filled so it will not affect your lips on the opposite arch.
They usually give you localized anesthetic so it will be confined to one spot. You may want to ask about a short duration anesthetic. It just wears off faster.
Just to be on the safe side wait until you get some feeling back before chewing.

Yes, the chances of biting your lips while it is numb is higher when you eat while the anesthetic effect is there. So to avoid this don't eat at least an hour after receiving local anesthesia.

very much so, because you will have no feeling of what you are doing or how hard you are biting down on your lip. Thats why they say dont eat for about an hour afterwards, because you cant tell how hard you are biting. And afterwards, youll be able to feel it if youve bitten too hard.
