district manager!! "administrator" doesn't sound as important as "manager", and "district manager" shows that you are over a lot of people, while "financial administrator" means you are in charge of money.

I guess the real question is would you rather be seen as someone trusted to account for sums of money or someone given a lot of leadership and authority over people?

A District Manager position usually involves travel. Is that what you're looking for?

District management, depending upon the field, or business category, may involve nights and weekends too.

As far as what sounds "better", title-wise, Financial Administrator sounds much more niche market, or specialized.

District manager sounds like some road warrior with a penchant for people off in the lower levels of management or operations. Finance Administrator sounds like a clerk. You should try regional operations manager (District manager). sounds a little friendlier.

Who cares what they call you. Which one will you fit better in. It depends on what type of business you are in. As for me, you couldnt pay me enough to be a District Manager within the Finance Industry and Ive worked in it for 28 years.

It's not the sound;-{ but how the description fits.
Administrators handle things like finances
Managers handle people & work assignments.

Either one sounds impressive - why don't you pick based on which job suits you better rather than how good your title may sound?
