For all the scaremongering religions teach, the reality is energy cannot be destroyed and the natural law and the spirit world are in control not man.

So no the world will not come to an end nor will God being attempting to resurrect rotted bodies of people and animals.

Your soul leaves your body at time of death making your empty shell (body) obsolete.

yes

From a scientific standpoint, it is only a matter of time until our sun explodes and destroys the planet, or destroyed by a comet or what have you. Hopefully this won't happen for billions of years.
And hopefully we'll be able to move onto other planets by the time it does happen, or find someway to stop it.

Man will not cause the end of the world. We may cause our own extinction, but the planet will survive with cockroaches and bacteria to slowly start repopulating. We may change the planet so that it will never be anything like what it is now, but it will not be completely destroyed by man.

As for the entire universe...Einstein for a long time refused to contimplate the origin of the universe because he understood that if it had a beginning, it must have an end. He was very disheartened to come up with beginnings of the big bang theory. One theory is that the universe is expanding and one day it will not have the power to expand anymore and will therefore collapse in on itself and be no more.
There are alternate theories that do state the universe is stabalizing, but man kind is far away from understanding the universe that we really don't know.

What happens then? If there is a god(s) of sorts, hopefully he will have further plans for us. If there is no god, then we're completely gone once our universe collapses or if we get pulverized by a comet.
Personally, I want to believe in god and an afterlife in another dimension, but over the last few years I'm finding it harder and harder to believe that there will be anything for us to look forward to after death besides turning into dust. I hope God exists, and I hope if he does he'll have mercy on my for doubting him, but I just really can't help thinking its all a nice fairy tale.

EDIT: someone gave me a thumbs down for this answer? Lame.

Salaam alaikum.

My World will surely come to an end when I die, and that is as sure as I am breathing. Whether everyone goes together or not, when we die, this World dies for us all. Our day of Judgment comes on the day we go, and everything ceases to exist for us and we move to the next life and the beginning of another relationship with the Most High Allah swt.

Therefore, I see "the World coming to an End for me" for sure, one hundred percent. Whether everyone else's World ends with me or not, is really immaterial in the final analysis.

I hope this makes sense. Wassalaam. =)

Yes, it will. Jesus died over 2,000 yrs ago, and as we know, one day is as a thousand years with the Lord, so do the math. We are into that third day period, according to the Lord. Rather ironic that Jesus resurrected in three days, do you see the connection with the three days? No one knows when exactly, but there is a season for harvest, from May thru Sept. No one knows the year exactly, but it is drawing nigh.

Yes, the earth will come to an "end" when it gets gobbled up by the sun in several billion years. The sun will also come to an end, and it appears that even the universe itself will come to an end, of sorts, with nothing remaining by extremely red shifted photons drifting for eternity.

The Planet, like a battery will one day run out of juice. As long as we keep plundering its resources like a bunch of pirates. Of course, there are things we can do to help prolong Earth's life. The likelihood of the planet dying in our lifetime is next to none. So help our future generations by doing your part. Conserve energy, recycle, and don't over-pollute. I am sure God will be happy that we are doing our best to keep his creation intact for those who have yet to experience it.

Getting a large font headache. Yes this earth age will come to an end at a specified time in the future. There is much written in the bible about it.
