If you don't want to actually tell him just show it in your actions. That's what guys appreciate most instead of the words anyway...and that should work well for you because you don't like to talk.

No prob. It's like saying you name without actually saying it, can you do that? Come on! Tell him. The worst that can happen is that he say that he doesn't, so what? It may sound it your face but it's true. It's three of the most difficult words to say, but if you don't you'll always ask yourself, "What if..."

well what some guys and girls do is "bump" into him and have a conversation. then invite him to have lunch with you then your will be good form thr good luck :^)
