"The very concept of sin comes from the bible. Christianity offers to solve a problem of its own making! Would you be thankful to a person who cut you with a knife in order to sell you a bandage ?" — Dan Barker, "Losing Faith in Faith".

everyone is a sinner and need to repent every day . The bible says that whoever says he isnt a sinner is a lier . Christianity doesnt solve problems it creates like the guy said. The problem exist whether we want to admit it or not. We are sinners whether people want to admit it or not. Christianity solved MANY problems in my life that werent related to guilt for sins . Besides, when someone feels guilty , that is a good thing, because they can change the ways they live . Most people in the world, whether theyve heard of God or not, feel guilt and carry guilt with them because everyone has done things they knew were wrong , and yes its true that sometimes people start to feel bad only after they start reading the bible and going to church, and learnt that some things in their lives are not pleasant . But this is a good thing, the bible says that there is sadness from the world that leads to death, and sadness from God that leads to life. that is a good kind of sadness . This is not an argument about religions, im just answering the man's comment according to the bible . Yes , sometimes people abuse of God's mercy and do things because they know HE forgives, but they still have to come to a point where they repent, which means they wish they didnt do it and not to feel like " I got away with it!", its something that hurts you because it hurt God, and even through all this God does forgive because HE is good . So to answer the main question, as long as they think they are tricking God and they dont repent, their sin remains on them, but when they repent sincerely, God is good and just to forgive them

It's a simple statement of fact! However, continuing in your sins is no way of being forgiven. There can be no forgive ness where there is no repentance, & repentance is turning away from your sins; not counting on some false god to just keep right on forgiving you for the same thing over & over & over & over again when there is no heart change nort change in the behavior! That belief is christian deception!!! I wouldn't count my eternal life on that beleif!!! Turn from the sin, then be saved!!! The blood paid for our "past sins", not for every sin you will ever make! Read the book & don't beleve the lying preachers!!! They just want your money!

admitting that we are sinners is not an excuse to sin, Im a catholic. when we say we sin, we do its true, we are impatient with someone, or maybe were short with another, we might ignore someone, but it does not mean I like to have pre marital sex, and so then do it, and say in presumption, that God forgives. Thats a good way to end up in hell, we have to ask, we have to confess, in we sin and presume on the mercy of God without asking or feeling sorrow for hurting God, those people shall not enter heaven. Presumption and despare are the sins which can never be forgiven in this life or in the next. despare , when we have that, we dont ask cuz we feel not worthy or thing Oh God couldnt forgive that, thats too horrible, so we give up hope. It is unforgiveable.

No, what you've just described is a hypocrite's tactic, not Christianity. We are sinners by nature. It's another way of saying we're imperfect and are prone to make mistakes. Would you say you're perfect? Wouldn't that make you an arrogant liar if you did? Then don't bust on Christians for admitting the same thing. The difference between us and you is that we recognize our need for forgiveness.

The sad fact is that even saved people have to live in a sinful world, in an unregenerate body. We are not YET perfected. But at least we're headed in the right direction. Yes, we make mistakes, and we slip and fall. But WE want to get up and try again. It's not an excuse. It's an admission.

There are some christians who may do that. The bible says that we ALL fall short. Even one little bad thought is a sin and in need of Christ's blood. We are as christians to stay away from habitual sin, and that seems like the scenerio you were speaking of, (if you weren't speaking of that I apologize). For any searching, the book of Romans in the KJV bible will go into much depth.
It is God who knows the heart too and it is between each person and God.

Christians sin, that is true but because they are forgiven that does not give them the liberty to continue to go out keep doing that sin.
Gal 5:13
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
1Peter 2:16
As free, and not using your liberty for a cloak of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Philemon 1:3

A fine example of that are convicts, how many of them are constantly saying they found god in prison only to get out and rape or kill again then repeat. I think its dangerous for christians to say "all can be forgiven" at the last moment.

We all sin, but being a Christian does not give you the priviilage to do as you say. If you are trully a Christian then you would not keep doing the same things over and over again.

no, everyone does wrong and you can't deny it. It's human nature. NO ONE can help it. but we can regret it, we can want to undo it. Just no one can undo it.(most of the time) So we might aswell leave it in the past and move on. This has a philosophical meaning deeper than most people usually drive their psyches.
