i have a 97 town car and i cant find where it says the sugjested octane rating for the car anyone now it or have a idea where it would b printed? oh and i dont have the owners manual

First, let's get you that owners manual!

It is in pdf format (but a rather large file) so it is very easy to save it to your computer for future reference

Now for the octane rating , see page 314 (it says regular unleaded, 87 octane)

Call the local Lincoln dealer and ask. But they will tell you that the car is designed to run on regular. The Town Cars just come with 4.6l, which don't require any special high octane.
