A Child's perspective of Heaven

"Look, Mom, the moon's still up!" my young son exclaimed while looking out the window one morning. "Why is it so high?" he inquired.

"God put it up there for many reasons," I said, rattling off a few.

Still trying to figure it out, he looked up at me and asked, "Did God put it that high so little kids can't touch it?"

"There is nothing impossible for a child."

If a child asked something from his or her heart. God will never hesitate to give what His child asking for.

Our level of understanding is so below to a child. Listen carefully the pleading of a child. So simple yet caressing. Parents can never say no if they can. But in the heart of God, He will never hesitae to give all of His love.

Be like a child.

that IS cute!

there is one about thunderstorms and lightening too.... a little boy was told by a teacher that the lightening (of which he was afraid) was just God taking a picture & not to worry. the little boy was walking home and his mom, rushing to pick him up was flabbergasted when she came upon him. ever time the thunder would rumble he would stop, face it and smile during the subsiquent lightening busrt. she rushed to get him into the car. she asked what he was doing asn said -- gee mom, God just wanted to take my picture so i wanted to look nice.

Yes it is very cute. You forgot to give his age. So that things are not a curiosity to him take time and share with him how something that he is not allowed to touch feels. One less hang-up as he grows.

Your a good mom.
