Whats the cost of a plane ticket to China...If you don't know dont answer...

I live in Gouverneur New York and i'll be in China for 17 days...

I suggest that you cll a travel agent that I have worked with in the past, he has helped me purchase many tickets as well as large group tickets, CNL Travel, in NYC, his name is James. I think the tickets are running around $1000 give or take depending on when you are flying

Well first of all when trying to get an international flight don't use the internet they will almost always be more expensive than going to a travel agent. Now you are going from New York so it depends on you do you want convenience or cheapness? You can leave out of NY and get a round trip for around $1,000. Though another option is getting out to LA on whatever is cheapest, then getting a ticket from LA to Beijing which should cost you from $400-700 depending on season. You may be able to save a few Benjamins here it will all depend on timing.

Northwest Airlines has a promotion fare these days New York- Beijing return for $ 925.This is perhaps the lowest fare being offered between the 2 destinations these days.

just go to any airline's web site
the ask you a date, whether it is a round trip, if so whe you are coming back.
So it all depends.
If you trave durring the week and avoid weekends... its usually cheaper. and early mornings...
