Try taking some Vitamin C tablets for a few days. This always worked for me and seemed to shorten the duration and severity of colds and other illnesses. Also be sure to drink plenty of orange juice and other fluids.

Well, for me, I made a decision a few years ago to stop telling myself I was "getting sick" --instead now I say I'm "fighting something off." not much difference, but mentally it's helped me, that and not talking about it to other people when they ask how you are, because if you say you're sick, you'll believe it... anyway besides that I do a lot of thigns to stay healthy-- Airborne is good stuff, basically a big fissy vitamin that dissolves in water. which reminds me you need to drink a LOT of that too.. I also drink a lot of that Green juice drink they sell that looks gross, but tastes really good- (Like Naked Juice's Green machine) and also sitting in a dry sauna and sweating helps your immune system by creating an "artificial fever" which is what our bodies do to kill bad stuff. It can be worth it to find a local gym and pay their day se fee to go "sweat it out" before it gets ya. anyway, GOOD LUCK-- and remember: fluids, viamins, heat-- even if you can't get to a sauna, sleep with a towel around your throat, brings more blood to the area to fight stuff off.

Start taking flu & cold tablets and get some Lozengers or Buttermenthols for your throat and rest. More sleep you have the less likely you are to get sick. Make sure you go to bed early, drink lots of OJ. But in the end of the day if your exposed to everyone being sick, you still might get it. If it gets worse go to the doctor ASAP.

No. You can help your dry/sore throat by gargling with warm salt water. You can take Tylenol for fever and aches and pains. And make sure that you wash your hands well so that you don't spread your virus to others.
Once you get a virus, you can't do anything about it---you just have to let it run it's course.

Buy some Zicam, it's sold at any drug or grocery store over the counter. You start taking it as soon as you begin to feel sick and you should feel better in 24 hours.

Too late! By the time you're feeling the first symtoms of an illness, all the "culprits" are in place- for it to be as bad as it's GOING TO BE. So, break out the Asprin & Fluids- and get ready to "turn in" early, tonight. MAYBE you'll get lucky- & it won't be so bad- afterall! :)

Cold FX, it really works. If you're in the States, I found some at Walgreen's while I was down there.

it's probably just a virus. That's the same symptoms I have and my parents say it's going around the country.
