In between is a lot of history, such as the Jamestown settlement, Williamsburg, Yorktown, a significant number of American Civil War sites, and a smattering of everything else. There are a significant number of museums, such as the Museum of the Civil War Soldier, Virginia Marine Science Museum, the Virginia Historical Society, Museum of the Confederacy, Woodrow Wilson Birthplace, and tons of others.
