Congratulations on caring about this so much!

The next time you have to write a paper or an essay, do it on the benefits of recycling. If your teacher likes the subject, enlist her support.

Get some other students who care about this, and go to the principal - there's strength in numbers. Offer to help organize it - like collecting the cans and bottles - if the school will provide the bins.

If there's a PTA, talk to them; lots of people care about this, and they may want to get involved.

maybe just put boxes in each class with a "recycle bin" posted on it...have you and your friends collect it everyday...

Go to a school board meeting, and raise the issue.

If you have email access, send your suggestion to the school superintendent, or your principal, it definitely needs to be done, great idea!
