I would like to walk to and from the gym. It is approximately 2.8 miles away from my house. My workout routine is for one hour. I want to go at least three times a week. I don't want to strain my muscles. Yet, I'm more than fifty pounds over weight and need to lose it fast(I had twins).So give me your honest thoughts.

this is not consider too much exercise but be sure to get enough sleep and workout each bodypart everyday. I suggest doing cardio on weekends will also help.

No, I think it's great that you are so motivated after having twins! This doesn't sound like too much exercise, but you might be a little burned out after your 1 hour workout routine, and it might be a stretch to walk home. If it is, you can get somebody to drop you off or pick you up. That way, you still get that 2.8 mile exercise.

Three times a week is a great routine for this. Try to go every other day to give those muscles you worked out a rest. Try to also add in free weights, or the circuit weights into your routine to tone up. Less weight and more repititions.

is this to much exercise? not unless ur busting ur @$$ off at the gym in 1 hr, but even then it should not be too much


i'm pretty sure ur weight training (if ur doing any) is with moderate weights and not extremely heavy ones
(i'm also assuming u recently started going to the gym)

so no this is not too much exercise

not at all, u can also stretch too and do crucnhes like this, (i do it in my dance class) lay back on ur back and put ur legs ina buttter fly as if u were going do that strech but ur on ur back then put ur hands behind youre head and look straight up and do twenty crunches like that then with youre legs just bent like regular sit ups then with them in the air. also do them slow then fast
just work hard and eat healthy food. if u really wana loose alot of wieght be strict on yourself!!

2.8 miles isnt much. especially for a walk. well, for me that is. im not sure about you. if you want to lose weight fast, i guess its ok.

no as long as you drink enough water, and any sore muscles are giving a break for time to heal, if you dont you can do more damage than good. you should be fine.

yea thats a great excercise...just eat good and dont think of nasty thoughts like binging and purging
