Calories vary depending on the size and color of the apple. A normal red apple of medium size is about 80 calories with the skin, and about 60 calories without the skin.

You should eat the skin though. It's the healthiest part. Good for fiber.

There are 80 calories in a medium sized apple, removing the skin won't really affect the calories you consume.
