well...what do all the little flirty things you do actually MEAN? i'm having such a hard time understanding this one guy at school. he sorta flirts, but i'm not sure!! please explain your mind to me!!

Flirting is a very natural thing for both sexes to do. Its not confined to college kids etc. I am a 75 year old male and married but even I do flirt with women sometimes.Fortunately for my lovely wife that's as far as it goes.If someone flirts with you just feel flattered.

I cannot answer this for all guys - we are as different as girls, but there are things you can do to find out a lot.
1. Get a book on body language (or look on line)
2. Test him out. there are several ways to do this. Body mirroring is a way to tell who is interested. if you are talking with him, change your posture (cross your arms or uncross them, lean or un lean on something) and see if he follows your lead. If he does he likes you.
3. People have no control over their pupils, When we see something we like, our pupils increase in size.
4. Read up on lie detecting and body language - it has lots of clues there.
5. Go to my blog and read up on human behavior - I am a professor of Sociology and criminal behavior and I study this kind of stuff a lot). davidacamp.com no sales or anything to buy - just information.
Also you can ask something like - hey you want to go get a coke with me?

I don't agree with the people that say that either someone flirts or does not. It is not that 'black & white'. I'll say it (and there will be guys who disagree), but MOST GUYS suck when it comes to 'reading' a girl and trying, awkwardly, to get their attention. Quit trying to 'understand' him (you obviously already know that he is trying to get your attention). Talk to him before he makes a complete @$$ of himself (unless you want/ need to laugh).

Well if we are just talking casual it doesn't mean anything but if we start trying to make you laugh or get to know you- thats flirting.

well first thing you and he are in school. he may not be good at flirting yet. not sure what to do yet and just getting his feet wet now. he may just not be sure of how to do it yet. first find out if he likes you. there are various ways to find this out. freinds ask him. you ask him etc... then go from there

If he 'sorta' flirts...he flirts. Guys don't have diffrent levels of flirting...they do or don't.
