I don't know my mom (Who does not have nuts) was slain at 9 years old quite a bit...I didn't even know it until about 3 years ago , when the Lord asked me to ask Her about when she was 9,,I thought no way,,she grew up with tons of abuse I thought He was asking me to ask so she could relive those moments,,lol...was I shocked when my sister asked her for me,,we didn't know much about her she was old school,,and thats when she told us and I was so shocked,,lol..I really got a great blessing that day...she would get slain and go into heaven and walk with Jesus, what an awesome thing to be able to walk with Him in heaven and still be alive...

Nah, being Slain in the Spirit is more like being Knee'd in the Nuts. It's all in the Phonics.... Kicked in the Crotch works too.

I am a Bible believer, I don't believe in being slain in the spirit.

Since it seems like the majority of Charismatics are women, could you have a less sexist question, if you expect a real answer? Sorry, I think that I just answered myself. Never-mind.

LOL,
It's just like fainting or passing out but (allegedly) inspired by an overwhelming sense of the presence of God.

Bettierage, I have experienced both and I can personally assure you the two experiences have absolutely nothing to do with each other -- unless, of course, you are speaking metaphorically.

Hello sweet (((((((Bettierage)))))))
Not for me..
But when my ex went to our Church, he was knocked off his feet, he said it was as if someone had pulled a rug out from under him..
He was not hurt in any way..but he did have a big smile on his face, when he got up again.. :)
In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With ~Love~ your "Friend" In Christ.. :)

Some friends and I tried to coin the term: "Slay me" or "O slay me" as a response kind of like "whateva".
It never caught on but I still use it occasionally.
