I'm 5'2, 130lbs, and 16. I'm on a diet trying to lose weight. I run two and a half miles everyday. Most of it was healthy food. Only 400 calories were of bad food. The rest were good healthy things like eggs, apples, all that good stuff. I feel really bad. It was the third day of my diet so I feel like a pig. Am I going to gain weight? =(

No 2,000 isnt bad especially if you are running. Dont eat the junk....Look at it this way....If you eat junk food, you don't want to get in shape that bad. If you want to get in shape really bad than that should be enough to detour you from the junk. And no 400 calories of bad food one day will not make you gain weight. You burn the 400 with running 2 miles.

A 2000 calorie diet is the average amount of calories an "average" person should consume each day. I would suggest you NOT count calories...you're only going to drive yourself insane. If you want to lose weight, limit "junk" foods to weekends and eat healthy throughout the week. You're already running everyday, so you're burning more calories than you normally would. You should really do some research if you want great results. Visit Health Canada website or something, they provide excellent information on healthy food choices, active lifestyles, etc...
