1 Thes 5:18 says we should be thankful for ALL circumstances in our lives for this is God's will.

I know the natural mind cannot understand this but if we do it by faith, it opens the door for God to move in each situation and cause them to work for the good. Trust him.

Remember, your Faith is more precious than gold. The fire of our trials purifies it.

Will you be thankful for all things?

Very thankful and grateful. I went through a hard time last winter and thanked God all the way through it (It was so very hard to do that because I was actually mad at God for letting me suffer so much - I had major depression) Anyway, I just kept thanking and praising and finally I got my healing. Now I am really thanking and praising. I believe that this has something to do with the term "sacrifice of praise"

Yes I am thankful for every aspect of my life, even if its not what I planned, I know God has planned it and he will sustain ,me in all I do. I know my faith is more precious than gold or anything better than gold. Right now my family has a few financial trouble but I know God will help us through it, he always has and I know he will. It might not be through means of what I plan but he will get us alll through our toughest battles. God Bless you and don't worry about what the people say on hear OK.

Markus, this was a very hard lesson for me! But, when my daughter fell ill and was dying, I began praising Him in the midst of this trial! Why? Because I knew that even with this situation being so grave, that GOD was in control as HE is the giver and taker of life!

I surrendered my will to His as I had no hope from the doctors! Instead of pain, He gave me peace, instead of fear, He gave me hope! Then, in the midst of all the nay sayers (doctors) God raised my daughter from that death bed and she is still with us, today! The doctors cannot explain this but, two did say that it had to be Devine intervention as noone else ever "bounced" back from being that far gone! I reminded them of Lazarus.

Now, my faith is in HIM alone and I will praise Him in all things.

I always thank God. I try hard to except everything in my life and be thankful for what I do have and not focus so much on what I don't or what I want. I am still a work in progress!

Yes. I'm very thankful for my life, and the blessings that I have. I'm also thankful for the lessons I've learned through enduring tough situations.

Ohh yeahh. But I think that doesn't apply to a mother that had lost her only 2 daughters by their father's hand. (a case in Puerto Rico)

My bible actually says to be thankful "in" all circumstances, not "for" all circumstances. I am not thankful "for" migraine headaches. I am thankful that I have a God that will see me through them, however.
