As a mum myself, the best present my children could give me is to give me a day off. Make me tea, do my usual jobs, make dinner, let me choose a movie for the family to watch, or if I want a walk, everyone happily agrees and joins me to be with me on my day. A home made card is wonderful, and I once received a poem from my daughter which I will treasure forever. How about a home made birthday cake for your mum?

I am a mom, 47, two grown children with grandchildren and I can tell you, just spending time with them is just fine with me. I also love it when they write me personal notes or poems that are not pretentious but real about their "growing up" or me being a mom. And when all else fails...a family picture or simply a meal you don't have to cook yourself is the greatest! Other than that, what more could a mom want than a child who loves her and is already trying to think of what to get her? You sound very special and I bet she knows she is blessed!

If you really want to make her happy observe her and let her know how you appreciate the little things...top it off with her fav. dessert and a gift card to a spa, retreat, nail salon(for manicureand pedicure)....gift cards are the rave.....she can get that little thing she saw but couldn't get it ! have fun try the salon that allows you to try out different hair styles on the computer before you actually get the cut.go to a boutique you wouldn't otherwise patron...it is so much out there to do.DO NOT forget to send flowers to her job....she's mom!MUM!

I'm around the same age and I no longer want anything practical or useful etc. I would like a piece of jewellery, my birthstone perhaps or a piece of gold. You could also take me out for a balloon ride followed by lunch somewhere nice or pay for a pamper day somewhere with a friend. I think I'm right here!!!

exciting, i'm a Weeping Willow. Weeping Willow, the melancholy. perfect yet packed with melancholy, appealing, very empathic, loves something perfect and tasteful, likes to commute, dreamer, under pressure, capricious, truthful, might nicely be prompted yet isn't user-friendly to stay with, stressful, stable instinct, suffers in love yet unearths each each now and then an anchoring better half.

Well it depends on what her interests are. Maybe just buy her a big beatiful boquet of flowers. Are if she's into electronics, look for something there. It really depends on what she likes, maybe she likes books....etc. Or if you don't have a clue what her interests are, maybe try to get hints from her, but try not to make it too obvious that you are going to get something for her. Hope that helped.

depends on your budget, maybe a gift certificate for a manicure or pedicure-always a winner in my book.
