Having long fingernails will interfere with client care & it's against the health code.
You don't see long finger nails in the people helping field, Doctors, Nurses, Dentist & their assistants etc....look up their policies & you can use them.

It is difficult to get them really clean, long fingernails are a great place for bacteria to hide and grow. Even using a nail brush when washing hands isn't 100% effective. You can spread disease with unclean long nails. Also there is always the risk of accidently scratching someone. And causing injury and/or an infection.
